The food was very good overall and the service was good and friendly, great ambiance (simple, casual and clean) The only thing that needs alot of improvement is their rice (yellow, and the moros I did not have the white) not authentic at all very

I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food at Las Palmas. It has a casual atmosphere and the food is not geared towards a black tie dinner. That being said, I had ordered the picadillo which was excellent, having the appropriate raisins and green olives and was richly flavored. The pork sandwich was simply the best I have ever had. The papas rellenos were crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside. I was also happy with the hamburger (a combination of beef, pork, and sausage), the platanos maduros, the flan, and tres leches. If you are interested in authentic, delicious, Cuban food, this restaurant is for you. I look forward to trying more of their dishes.
